These works are part of a series of paintings, Posthumously Blooming, that feature floral motifs and texts from an unpublished novel, The Artist's Life, written by the artist's father and discovered after his death. The red lines on the text are editor’s markings on the original manuscript that was scanned and worked into the layouts.
